Another email scam?

Posted by: abelle   in scams and the city

Scammers do not get tired. Instead, they device more and more ways to get people into their traps. When I checked my emails this morning, I saw this one in my Spam folder. Despite all the campaigns and ads that inform the public of these and other kinds of scams, these crooks seem not afraid and still take the risks. Why? Because there are still people out there who get attracted and touch the baits. Here is the email sent to me:

I am currently looking for the right website or office here in the Philippines that handles things like this so the information gets to the public and be legally taken care of as well. As for the US, I believe there are websites such as www.ic3.gov and www.ftc.gov to assist you.

Meanwhile, if you received suspicious emails, please do not respond at all. If you did not join any sweepstakes or lottery, there is no chance for you to win, period. If you know any text messages or emails similar to this, please feel free to post it here (comment below) so more and more people will be aware. Thank you.

yet they are still out there. I get at least two from the Nigerian lottery scam every month. I often get the ones from beautiful women half my age who are supposedly in one of the isolation camps and have large inheritances. They need me to help them retrieve from the oppressive regime. That’s holding them. I have been collecting them. I will put a few up on my page. Some are totally ridiculous
