I started blogging in 2007 and having authored two other blogs, I decided to have my own domain. Only in Silence was launched on Feb02, 2008. Here, I talk about anything under the sun, the moon, the stars – everything! There are topics about the environment, health, parenting and relationship tips and many others. There are also regular posts of funny cartoons, photos & videos every weekend. It’s educational and fun all at the same time.

My name is Abelle, an ordinary earthling and a 32-year old wife and mother from Quezon City, Philippines. I love to read and I read just about anything that will make me look good in case I die in the middle of it. My life as a stay-at-home mom began in January 2007 when my husband and I decided that I take a break from work as we try for another baby. No luck yet, though, but with prayers and patience, we know we’ll get there.
I don’t go out much and am contented spending time here in our room, enjoying writing and reading and taking care of the house and our son. I am not the typical ‘mama-next-door’ because I don’t and can’t cook and can’t keep the white clothes white, but I have an extraordinary ability to give orders and ask for assistance whenever the situation asks for it. I find cookbooks and recipes complicated, that is why you won’t find them in my library. But since I strongly believe that learning is endless, I will follow the path to the kitchen when I hear the ‘calling’.
MY MORNING PRAYER:
Please grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I cannot accept, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people I had to kill because they pissed me off.
And also, help me to be careful of the toes I step on today as they may be connected to the ass that I may have to kiss tomorrow.
Behind the scene
Dario a.k.a. the husband – An OFW based in Riyadh, Dario is a very responsible and loving father and husband. He goes home for vacation once a year, usually around April or May to take advantage of our son’s summer vacation. And because he only gets to spend less than two months with us, we always make each year more memorable and more fun than the previous ones. Communication is never a problem between the two of us because we talk (through YM) every single day and call and send each other text messages from time to time. So if anything needs to be discussed and decided, both of us are involved.
Jeff a.k.a. the son – Jeff is our sweet 11-year old who is currently in fifth grade, is into basketball and chess, loves collecting Pokemon, Naruto & Ben10 figures, playing PlayStation and computer games, likes watching WWE & NBA games, listening to Maroon5, Linkin Park and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
